Fuji mountain

I was inspired by my visit to Japan last year, seeing the fuji mountain.

It is an amazing view on a sunny day.

Ripe peach

It is a series of pear shape lidded dome. 

It is a story of a peach, from green, maturing, rip to brown

The glazes looks like star dust, one of my favorite piece.

 

 

River rock

Inspired by nature

This is one of my larger lidded dome pieces. 

I was looking into the water and seeing the stones that's lying under that running stream. There was this particular rock that was slightly different color,  I picked it up and throw it back into the water. Playing fetch with my Labrador, he put his head the the water, not realizing that he can't breathe under the water. He eventually realize that he have to hold his breathe to pick it up to bring it back for a treat.

His name is Don-don, meaning winter, when we picked him up from the breeder. he is the loveliest dog I have ever have.
