Made it in Wilkins and Kent

My "Let Loose" series couple cups has just made it in the Wilkins and Kent store in Fitzory!! How wonderful they have taken me on, I have always loved the shop and their furniture!

The exhibit day of Let Loose series at Northcote pottery

Thanks to Northcote Pottery for making me the feature artist of the month, the turn out was great. Due to poplar demand there will be another on the 26th of Oct 1-3 pm, please come if you missed out on the 5th.

It was a wonderful experience being there, talking to people that appreciate ceramic and my work. Thanks for all the friends that made the effort to come and bringing their friends along with them. Special thanks for those who have found my piece a home! Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy making them.

Setting up at Northcote pottery

What an exciting thing to do, seeing months work being up there, although it isn't much but it's a wonderful feeling and a sense of accomplishment.

I figure this is the best way to go, although it's not a gallery exhibition, but being able to set up a table full of my work is more than what I could have done at an group exhibition. Have to thank Northcote pottery and Emidio for putting me up for this.
Here's some photos of the set up.

The competition pieces at the store window.

That's me checking to see if everything is lined up, with my mouth open going "Humm..."

More checking, the stamps face front, it's a compulsive disorder's paradise .

Setting up some lights, you can see it's really a table full~

The display at the corner, where the lighting is best. Slightly worried that because my glaze are satin glaze, it really need those gallery spot light on them to see the spots coming out.

2013 Australian Craft Award

I have just entered the competition today, very excited. Took three whole days to do the application. I was really worried that there wasn't going to be a sunny day for me take there photos. It has been raining a lot in Melbourne lately. I hardly get any afternoon sun coming in the house. Lucky Sunday was sunny, the house was landmine with cups. I took about 10G worth of photos and picked the 10 that's on the 2013 Australian craft website. Hope everyone will appreciate the work.
